According to Tuttosport, Liverpool have submitted a €20 million (£17.1 million) bid for Torino’s Wilfried Singo.
However, the Italian news outlet add that the Serie A side have ‘politely’ rejected Liverpool’s offer.
Tuttosport claim Liverpool scouts have been left impressed with the 20-year-old following some scouting missions, in which they were actually watching his teammate, Gleison Bremer.
Tuttosport describe Singo as a powerful and decisive winger who is very tough, and also skilled in one-on-one situations.
It seems the Ivorian is capable of playing at right-back as well as a right winger.
Transfermarkt shows Singo has made 17 appearances as a right-winger this term, but also six at right-back.

In that respect, he’s similar to Juventus wing-back Juan Cuadrado.
Interestingly, that is exactly who Cult of Calcio likened him to within an extremely detailed report of Singo’s abilities.
Cult of Calcio state that the pair are both attack-minded, and love taking on players.

By the sounds of it, Torino would welcome a second offer from Jürgen Klopp.
Tuttosport say that Torino would not want to completely deprive themselves of an important amount of money, hence why they politely declined Liverpool’s bid.
In that respect, this saga is certainly worth keeping an eye on.
