Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is reportedly open to joining West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is open to joining West Ham United in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that Sturridge will listen to offers from London club West Ham.
“He has told pals the Hammers could be an option come the end of the season when Jurgen Klopp reshapes his squad,” adds the report in The Sun.
Would Daniel Sturridge be a good signing for West Ham United?
Sturridge is a proven Premier League goalscorer, but the problem is that the Liverpool striker has struggled with injuries for a while now.
While the talent and quality of the England international striker is undeniable, it is his fitness that would be a concern for any club thinking of signing him.
West Ham already have a striker in Andy Carroll who has fitness issues, and it may not make much sense for the London club to sign another player with a history of injury problems.
However, if Liverpool are open to selling Sturridge at a low price and the player himself does not demand astronomical wages, then maybe it could tempt West Ham into signing the former Chelsea man.
