CalcioMercato claim Mo Salah will reject signing a new contract at Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are ready to raid the Reds for their Egyptian superstar. It would see him form a reunion with Gini Wijnaldum.
Salah, who turns 30 in June, is yet to extend his deal at Liverpool despite ongoing talks between the two parties. He recently spoke of how it is nothing to do with money on the table – and the fans know what he wants.
Now, a new report claims that while there had been hope Salah was edging towards putting pen on the paper – CM claim he is unwilling to do so. Of course, nothing is set in stone. The reliability of the report is up in the air.
But the report states that he will not be putting pen to paper and despite the expected departure of Mauricio Pochettino at PSG – they are interested. It would see Salah team up with Wijnaldum, after he left Anfield in 2021.
PSG eye Salah: French club is ideal for Liverpool star in summer
Salah would be a stunning signing for PSG – and that is because, Kylian Mbappe is set to leave the club on a free transfer, with Real Madrid expected to sign him. They need a replacement up top, that can be Salah.
Meeting a friendly face in Wijnaldum, and the chance to play up top with Neymar and Lionel Messi. The chance to win Ligue 1 and the Champions League. And, the chance for the 82-time Egypt ace to earn huge cash.
PSG is surely his best move, if Salah is to leave Liverpool this summer. Liverpool, meanwhile, have got to act quickly and make Salah an offer he cannot refuse. It might just have to be that they give in to his demands.
