Liverpool and Manchester United have reportedly been tracking the youngster.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Liverpool and Manchester United are keeping tabs on Santos wonderkid Rodrygo, and have performed several scouting missions on the Brazilian over this past month or so.
The talented youngster has been in mightily impressive form for his club this season, and has managed to score two goals in his six appearances thus far.

Rodrygo can operate anywhere along the frontline, bust is most comfortable when cutting in from the left hand flank onto his favoured right foot.
The 17-year-old is an incredibly talented footballer, and possesses exceptional technical ability. His footballing style is quintessentially Brazilian, and he is one of the world’s most exciting young prospects.
The Santos ace’s style is similar, in essence, to Neymar’s, and that in itself is a sign of just how good he is.

The Daily Mail claims that both Liverpool and United have been keeping a close eye on Rodrygo, with a view to meeting his £45 million release clause this summer.
Whilst that amount seems like a rather hefty fee for someone so young, in the current climate it might just turn out to be a real bargain for whichever club wins the ace for Rodrygo’s signature.
