Liverpool are reportedly scouting goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.

According to Kamu Guncel Haber in Turkey, Liverpool had scouts watching Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir on Monday night.
Trabzonspor travelled to take on Istanbul Basaksehir on Monday night, and actually took the lead through ex-Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge, who scored from the spot.
Basaksehir roared back with a penalty of their own, converted by Edin Visca, before another ex-Liverpool man – Martin Skrtel – put the hosts in front.
There was a late sting in the tail though, as Alexander Sorloth, on loan from Crystal Palace, bagged a 96th minute equaliser for Trabzonspor, earning a point in the dying stages.
It’s now claimed that former Liverpool man and now Fenerbahce director of football Damien Comolli was watching the game, but so was a Liverpool scout.
The reason for their trip to Turkey was Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir, who is earning quite the reputation for himself at the age of just 23.

6ft 3in Cakir has come up through the Trabzonspor ranks, and earned his first Turkey cap in May of this year, with real high hopes that he can become their first-choice in the coming years.
Liverpool have Alisson as their undoubted first-choice, whilst Adrian and Caoimhin Kelleher are also at Jurgen Klopp’s disposal, so it’s a surprise to see them looking at a goalkeeper, but it may just be in case Adrian wants to have another crack at first-team football elsewhere next season.
