Liverpool reportedly scouted defender Caglar Soyuncu this evening.

According to Turkish-Football.com, Liverpool scouted Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu in action for Turkey against Russia this evening – but they may not have been overly impressed.
The Reds, who reached the Champions League final before losing 3-1 to Real Madrid, have already tied up a deal for Monaco star Fabinho, whilst RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita will finally join up with his new club.

Liverpool will still be in the market for new sigings though, and whilst the often-criticised Dejan Lovren impressed against Real Madrid, another centre back to potentially partner Virgil van Dijk will be wanted.
Now, Turkish-Football.com report that the Reds tonight scouted Turkey defender Soyuncu as he took on Russia, with the two sides playing out a 1-1 draw in Moscow.
However, Soyuncu committed a terrible error, giving away possession on the edge of his own box as Aleksandr Samdeov opened the scoring for Russia.

Soyuncu saw out the rest of the game, but it’s unclear whether Liverpool will have been overly impressed with the 22-year-old’s performance given his mistake.
The Freiburg star has impressed in German football since signing from Altinordu in 2016, and even told Tumspor in Turkey that Arsenal are pursuing his signature in a big-money move – but it now reamsin to be seen whether Liverpool join the race too.
