Liverpool reportedly scouted Benfica star Anderson Talisca on Tuesday.

According to a report from Turkish-Football.com, Liverpool sent a scout to watch Besiktas midfielder Anderson Talisca in action against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
Besiktas were in Champions League action against Bayern on Tuesday night as they looked to upset the odds and advance into the last eight of the competition, but they endured a nightmare at the Allianz Arena.
Domagoj Vida’s red card after just 16 minutes left Besiktas down to 10 men, and Bayern went on to win 5-0, as Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski scored twice each, with Kingsley Coman grabbing the other Bayern goal.

Besiktas’ Champions League run is effectively over before the second leg even begins, and it was a frustrating night for a player who may have hoped to catch the eye of scouts in the crowd.
Turkish-Football.com report that Liverpool sent a scout to the Allianz Arena in order to watch Besiktas midfielder Anderson Talisca, as they line up potential targets for the summer transfer window.
Talisca, 24, has starred this season with 14 goals in all competitions, and the Benfica loanee may be viewed as a replacement for Philippe Coutinho following his January move to Barcelona.

Talisca’s two-year loan stay with Besiktas comes to an end this summer, and Benfica may cash in given that he is averaging around a goal every other game from an attacking midfield role, sparking interest from other clubs.
Liverpool may not have been overly impressed with his display against Bayern, but his performances in Turkey suggest that he has far more talent than he was able to show on Tuesday, given that his side were a man short for 75 minutes, and Jurgen Klopp’s men may still be considering him for a summer move.
