According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are inviting offers for striker Divock Origi as they look to sell him on this summer.
It’s claimed that Jurgen Klopp wants to raise funds for new signings this summer, and Origi is a player who will become available.
The 25-year-old joined Liverpool from Lille way back in 2014, meaning he is one of the club’s longest-serving players – but his time at Anfield looks to be nearing its end.
Origi still has three years left on his contract, but Liverpool seemingly feel that the time is right for him to move on, bolstering Klopp’s transfer budget.
Origi has started just two league games this season, and has played just 174 minutes of Premier League action since the turn of the year.
It’s clear that the Belgian needs to move on in order to play regular first-team football, and he would leave Liverpool as something of a cult hero.

His last-gasp winner against Everton, his heroics against Barcelona, his goal to seal the Champions League against Tottenham in 2019 – Origi has had unbelievable moments at Liverpool that will live long in the memory.
Klopp called Origi ‘important’ last season, but his lack of minutes shows how that situation has changed, with a summer exit now on the cards.
