According to The Mirror, Liverpool are ready to sell Harry Wilson for just £10m.
The Wales international has been impressive during various loan spells in recent years with Derby, Bournemouth and Cardiff, but unfortunately, it seems as though he’s not done enough to convince the higher-ups at Anfield to give him a chance.
Now, that’s not to say that he’s not rated by Liverpool’s coaching team. In fact, Jurgen Klopp has had a lot of good things to say about him, claiming that his shooting is world-class.
“His shooting is world-class. Find me five players who shoot better than him. That is obvious, but the game is about more and that is what he has to improve and that is clear,” Klopp said.
Unfortunately for Wilson, this Liverpool team is one of the best in the world, and your all-round game has to be world-class rather than just one aspect of it if you’re going to get a chance.
In another era, Wilson would certainly have been an asset for the Reds, but these days, Liverpool only have space for players who are amongst the best in the world, and right now, Wilson doesn’t fit into that category.
Any club that picks him up for £10m will be getting a fantastic footballer.
