According to Transfer Market Web, Liverpool have not given up hope of signing Monaco ace Thomas Lemar this summer, and could be prepared to offer up to €115 million (£100.5 million) in order to secure his services.

The Reds have already been heavily active during this summer’s transfer window, having spent close to £100 million on the signings of midfield duo Fabinho and Naby Keita, but it seems as though Jürgen Klopp is far from finished.

Tutto Mercato Web claims that Liverpool are intent on bringing Lemar to Anfield this summer, and that the Reds’ hierarchy could be prepared to match Monaco’s £100.5 million asking price.

Good signing for Liverpool?

The France international is one of the most highly coveted young players in world football, and would be an excellent addition to the Liverpool squad.

He has racked up 22 goals and 32 assists in 127 games in all competitions for Monaco thus far – an impressive return for someone still yet to turn 23.

Lemar can play anywhere along the front-line, but is most comfortable when cutting in from the left-wing.

He would bring fantastic competition to Liverpool’s famed front three, and could make all the difference to their hopes of making a sustained push for the Premier League title next term.
