Rangers have managed to bring winger Ryan Kent back to Ibrox.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Rangers’ move to re-sign winger Ryan Kent saw Liverpool slap a 20% sell-on clause into the deal.
The Gers fell flat in a 2-0 defeat to Celtic on Sunday afternoon, and that Ibrox reverse resulted in Rangers hitting the market to add some more quality to Steven Gerrard’s side.
It was clear that Rangers were missing the influence of winger Kent, who had impressed in a number of previous games against Celtic whilst on loan at Ibrox.
Rangers had been unable to re-sign Kent before the start of the season, but were able to bring him back to Glasgow in a permanent move before last night’s transfer deadline.
Rangers have paid £6.5million to sign Kent and a further £1million in add-ons, whilst Liverpool included an important clause in the deal too.
It’s stated that Liverpool already think that Kent will end up leaving Rangers for a big Premier League move, so they have inserted a 20% sell-on clause into the deal.

Kent is only 22, so he certainly has huge potential to fulfil, and if he continues to thrive under Gerrard, it’s only a matter of time before Premier League clubs do start to take notice of Kent.
Rangers will no doubt demand a major profit if they do receive interest from England in the future, and Liverpool will be able to take a cut of that fee.
