Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing the Trabzonspor starlet.
According to a report from Turkish media outlet Fanatik, Liverpool are set to renew their interest in Trabzonspor winger Abdulkadir Omur.
The 20-year-old was in fine form in Turkey last season, racking up five goals and 10 assists in 32 appearances, and he seems to be a real star for the future.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp will be keen to bolster his wide attacking department this summer, but bringing Omur to Anfield will be a signing made with one eye on the future rather than for the here and now.
The young Turk seems to have all of the attributes required in order to succeed under Klopp at Liverpool.
Turkish-Football claims that Omur could be available for around £25 million, and in today’s day and age, that would represent decent value for money.
It will be a slight risk for Liverpool, however, considering the fact that the 20-year-old has only played in his homeland, and he might find it hard to acclimatise to the intense nature of the Premier League.
All transfers involve risk, however, and Omur might just be worth taking a gamble on this summer.
