Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing the Bayer Leverkusen ace.

According to a report from the Daily Star, Liverpool are lining up a swoop for Bayer Leverkusen winger Julian Brandt as an alternative to Lyon ace Nabil Fekir.
The 22-year-old is extremely highly regarded in his homeland, so much so that he was selected as part of Germany’s World Cup squad ahead of the brilliant Leroy Sane.

Brandt began his career in the Bundesliga with Leverkusen in 2014, and has since gone on to chalk up 33 goals and 35 assists in 173 appearances in all competitions.
Every Love Island contestant if they were an England player – World Cup!
The Daily Star claims that Jürgen Klopp is a big fan of of the Germany international, and is considering renewing his interest in him, after the Reds’ failed move for Lyon’s Nabil Fekir.
What would Brandt bring to Liverpool?
The 22-year-old possesses pace in abundance and is technically gifted. He can also play anywhere along the front-line, and would offer strong competition for the Reds’ famous front three.

Brandt is at an age where he will surely begin to improve and become an even more well-rounded player, and who better to oversee his development than Klopp?
According to Transfer Markt, the German is valued at £35.4 million, and that would represent decent value for Liverpool in today’s day and age.
