According to The Express, Liverpool are plotting a move for Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly this summer.
It’s claimed that Liverpool were keen on Kelly last summer, but lost out as Bournemouth signed him in a £13million deal.
Kelly showed real promise at Bristol City, but has only managed eight Premier League appearances as injuries hit his season.
Liverpool are thought to have concerns about Kelly’s lack of playing time, but still fancy bringing him to Anfield.
The Reds are plotting a new bid for Kelly, believing that he can both replace Dejan Lovren at centre back and offer cover for Andrew Robertson at left back.
That would kill two birds with one stone for Liverpool, and they may hope for a budget-friendly deal following Bournemouth’s relegation.

Liverpool have raided relegated sides in the past; Newcastle United for Gini Wijnaldum in 2016, Hull City for Andrew Robertson in 2017 and Stoke City for Xherdan Shaqiri in 2018.
Kelly would be the latest name to add to the list, with the youngster back on Liverpool’s radar just a year since missing out on him.
