Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing the Real Madrid ace.

According to a report from Spanish media outlet OK Diario, Liverpool are planning to go back in for Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio next year, having had a €180 million (£160 million) approach for the Spaniard rejected this summer.
The 22-year-old is widely considered to be one of the best young attacking talents in world football, and he is now playing regularly, following Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit from the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.
Liverpool are already one of the most dangerous attacking forces on the continent, but Jürgen Klopp clearly feels that he needs more competition for places in the final third.
Spanish publication OK Diario claims that Klopp is a big fan of Asensio, and will make another bid for the Madrid forward in the summer.
Would Asensio be a good signing for Liverpool?
The simple answer is yes.

The Los Blancos ace would fit right in at Anfield. He can play anywhere along the front-line, has pace in abundance, and is an excellent finisher.
He also possesses a certain kind of creative guile, combined with exceptional technical ability.
Asensio will obviously not come cheap, but if Klopp does manage to bring him to Merseyside, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for Liverpool.
