According to Goal, Nat Phillips is wanted by four Premier League clubs, and the Liverpool centre-back is open to leaving Anfield.
Phillips was an unexpected star for Liverpool during the 2020/21 season, finishing third on the club’s Player of the Year voting after his emergence as a first-team star.
Injuries to Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip led to Phillips getting numerous opportunities for the Reds last term, and it’s fair to say that he impressed.
However, with the aforementioned trio due back from injury soon and Ibrahima Konate now in the squad, Phillips is likely to slip back down the pecking order, and he’s reportedly now open to leaving the Merseyside outfit.
Burnley and Brighton are said to be leading the race, but Goal also report that Southampton and Newcastle are keen on the centre-back.

As you can probably imagine, Phillips won’t be allowed to leave for a cut-price fee after such a fantastic season.
This time last year the Reds would reportedly have accepted around £4m for the centre-back, but now they want at least treble that amount for the 24-year-old.
Where will Phillips end up? Only time will tell, but after this report it seems as though his days at Anfield may be numbered.
