Liverpool staff believe that Georginio Wijnaldum is an ‘incredible professional’, according to Sky, and they are expecting no issues with the Dutchman next season.
Wijnaldum has been linked with a Liverpool exit, as he has under a year left on his current deal.
Liverpool are yet to present him with fresh terms, but they are not expecting any drop off in his performance levels, despite the uncertainty over his long-term future.
Indeed, Sky claim that Wijnaldum is totally relaxed about his future and is willing to give ‘100 per cent’ to the team.
Wijnaldum played fairly regularly for Liverpool this season and even though he has now reached the age of 29, the same report claims that Klopp could offer him a new deal sooner rather than later.

While Wijnaldum may now be advancing in years, tying him down may still be the best option for Liverpool.
The Reds have already lost Adam Lallana this summer and will surely not want to weaken their midfield options any more.
Wijnaldum’s versatility means that he can play in an advanced or a defensive midfield role, and if he does stick around, he will surely get plenty of game time again over the coming campaign.
