Liverpool could move very close to completing the signing of Kostas Tsimikas from Olympiacos today, according to reports from Spor Time in Greece.
Liverpool are said to have lined up Tsimikas as their second choice left-back, and following the rejection of their bid for Jamal Lewis, they are believed to have made an offer for the 24-year-old.
Olympiacos played Wolves in the Europa League last night, which means that Tsimikas is in England.
And the report claims that Liverpool could have a deal almost wrapped up for Tsimikas in the next 24 hours, with the Greek side wanting the deal sorted ‘immediately’.
The Reds have reportedly made a proposal to Olympiacos and the situation will be ‘clarified’ in the next 24 hours now.

Olympiacos are believed to be looking for around £15 million for their left-back, which could put him in Liverpool’s price-range.
If Tsimikas was to join Liverpool he would add depth to their squad at left-back.
Jurgen Klopp appears to feel that signing cover for Andy Robertson could be key, with his options limited in the position currently.
Tsimikas made 20 league appearances for Olympiacos over the past season, claiming five assists.
