Liverpool are starting to take a keen interest in Marseille defender Boubacar Kamara, according to Le 10 Sport.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been heavily linked with Kalidou Koulibaly throughout the summer so far, but signing the Napoli centre-back would prove extremely expensive.
Liverpool are now said to be looking at alternatives and Kamara is reportedly on their radar.
Kamara may be easier to acquire, as Foot Mercato claim that Marseille want to raise funds and are pushing him out the door.
The French side are believed to be struggling for cash, so if Liverpool made a bid of £28 million they could land him (Foot Mercato).

If Kamara was brought to Liverpool he would add further depth to the newly crowned Premier League champion’s defence.
However, Liverpool may not have a clear run to land the centre-back.
Le 10 say that Everton also have him on their wishlist, so the two Merseyside clubs may have to battle it out for his signature.
