Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are reportedly pushing to sign Ryan Gravenberch ahead of Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United.

According to The Mirror, Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in signing Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that Liverpool are “pushing” to get a deal done for the £200,000-a-week midfielder, who himself is open to leaving German and European giants Bayern in the summer of 2023.

Manchester United are keen on the 21-year-old Netherlands international midfielder as well, according to The Mirror, who have added that Liverpool’s interest in the youngster is “more advanced”.

Liverpool or Manchester United for Ryan Gravenberch?

In our opinion, Liverpool are more likely than Manchester United to sign Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool are in more pressing need of signing midfielders this summer.

After all, Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all have left the Merseyside club.

Now, of course, United could do with someone like Gravenberch who is young, dynamic and has huge potential.

And let us not forget that the Dutch midfielder worked with United head coach Erik ten Hag at Ajax.

However, takeover issues at United are dragging on, and Liverpool have already shown in the market that they want to wrap up their business early by already signing Argentina international midfielder Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and Hove Albion.
