Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are now reportedly competing with Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United for Crystal Palace winger Marc Guehi.
The Daily Mail have reported that Liverpool have joined Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Crystal Palace winger Marc Guehi.
The report has claimed that the Eagles could ask as much as £50 million in transfer fees for the 22-year-old England international central defender.
However, according to the report, Liverpool may not have the budget to pay that much money for the defender “as they prioritise midfield reinforcements this summer”.
Liverpool or Manchester United for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi?
In our view, Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi is more likely to pick Liverpool than Manchester United.

Both Liverpool and United are big clubs, but the Red Devils do look very strong at the back.
Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane are two of the best centre-backs in the Premier League.
Guehi is more likely to get into the Liverpool first team.
The Reds could do with a quality centre-back like Guehi, who is only 22 and could establish himself in the starting lineup for years to come.
Described as “an exciting talent” by Eagles chairman Steve Parish on the club’s official website in July 2021, Guehi has the potential to be a star at Liverpool and become a regular alongside Virgil van Dijk.
