According to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool attacker Liam Millar is attracting major interest – but the Reds want to keep him.
It’s claimed that Liverpool have rejected permanent offers for Millar in previous transfer windows, and a similar stance is in place now.
Millar has interest from teams in the Championship and the Bundesliga, but Liverpool want to see how he fares next season.
That may mean that he is in and around Jurgen Klopp’s first team, or ust that Liverpool may sanction another loan rather than selling him.
Millar still has two years left on his contract at Anfield, so Liverpool are currently in no rush to sell and will seemingly give him more time to impress.
Millar, 20, joined Liverpool from Fulham in 2016, and made history earlier this year by becoming the first Canadian player to represent Liverpool.
The winger played in Liverpool’s FA Cup win over Shrewsbury Town, and already has eight senior caps for Canada, emerging as one of their promising young talents alongside Alphonso Davies and Jonathan David.

Back in 2017, Millar bagged an FA Youth Cup hat-trick against Hartlepool United, prompting Reds legend Steven Gerrard to brand him ‘electric’ as he showed early promise.
Across his two loan spells at Kilmarnock, Millar hit two goals and three assists in 36 games. That doesn’t really smack of form that gets him into the Liverpool side, but the Reds appear to still have high hopes for him.
A short-term Championship loan until January may give Liverpool a better idea of Millar’s quality, but the notion that they’re unwilling to sell suggests that they still see a diamond in the rough.
