Fans of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers might be experiencing another false dawn in regards to Ryan Kent.

It’s a good thing the transfer window closes soon, because Rangers fans, on a loop of hope and disappointment, might be struggling with the Ryan Kent saga.
The Record reported on Tuesday that a move for the Liverpool winger was back on the table after the Gers had initially been told that it wasn’t going to happen.
Kent has been playing for the Reds’ Under-23 side as of late and the report added that the 22-year-old could ‘down tools’ at Melwood to force a return to Rangers.
But a new report indicates that that couldn’t be further from the truth.
According to The Argus, the English winger’s attitude and behaviour has been ‘exemplary’ and there remains no chance of Steven Gerrard bringing him back to Ibrox, with Liverpool refusing to budge on their stance.
Rangers can’t afford a £7 million permanent deal up front, but it had been hoped that Gerrard could initially re-sign him on loan with a view to making it permanent next summer.
At this point, bringing him back to Glasgow would be a fairytale signing, having won Young Player of the Year in Scotland last term, but as things stand it seems unlikely to materialise.
Sad thing is, no party benefits from him staying at Liverpool. The light Blues miss out on a class player, Kent misses out on another season under Gerrard, who improved him last year, and the Premier League side will be wasting one of their young talents by giving him another six months minimum in the Under-23s.
