Football website 90Min claim Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester City have joined Tottenham in the race for Japan star Daichi Kamada – with the player’s contract at Eintracht Frankfurt due to expire at the end of the current campaign.
Kamada, 26, is in the form of his life. Having helped Frankfurt win the Europa League with a penalty-shootout victory over Rangers last season, this term he is shining. Playing 27 times in all competitions, he has 13 goals and five assists.
The 26-time Japan star, though, is out of contract at the end of the season. A move to the Premier League looks as though it is becoming more and more likely. Bild recently said that Tottenham and Everton are in the mix for Kamada.
But now, 90Min say Premier League heavyweights Liverpool, Newcastle and Guardiola have joined Antonio Conte’s Spurs and Everton in the race for Kamada. It is widely expected that he will be leaving Frankfurt on a free this summer.

Liverpool and Manchester City join Tottenham in race for Kamada
Kamada is a serious talent. While his form has rapidly come on over the last couple of season, Kamada is now showing the kind of quality that would earn him a Premier League move. He has been branded “intelligent” by Oliver Glasner.
On a free transfer, Kamada will have more than just the four Premier League clubs keeping tabs. He is now in a position where overseas clubs can approach him on a pre-contract deal under the Bosman ruling. Kamada is on his way.
Where is best? Well, Spurs may need cover if Arnaut Danjuma does not sign permanently, they may go sign Japan ace. Liverpool need a bit of vigour in midfield. Man City may have to replace Bernardo Silva. Kamada is ideal, on a free.
