According to The Mirror, Liverpool may be willing to listen to offers for midfielder Adam Lallana this summer as they prepare for changes.
The Reds won the Champions League on Saturday night, but having narrowly missed out on the Premier League title, Jurgen Klopp won’t be resting on his laurels.
A number of players are expected to leave Anfield this summer as Klopp re-shapes his squad again, with Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno set to leave on free transfers.
The Mirror also claim that Liverpool may be willing to let Lallana go, with a feeling that the Reds are open to offers for the experienced playmaker.
Brendan Rodgers swooped to sign Lallana from Southampton in 2014, and he’s racked up more than 150 appearances for the club, scoring 21 times.
The 31-year-old has struggled with injuries and fitness in recent times though, falling out of favour in Klopp’s midfield rotation save for a brief spell in the side earlier this year, and he now hasn’t played since March.
With The Express claiming that former club Southampton could re-sign him, Liverpool may well be ready to say goodbye to the former England ace, getting shut of another member of the infamous summer 2014 spending spree.
