AC Milan didn’t sign Liverpool youngster Suso in the summer window, but reports suggest a deal in January is inevitable.
Italian side AC Milan didn’t manage to complete a swoop for Liverpool attacking midfielder before the transfer window closed, but it is being suggested that a January switch is all but agreed.
The talented 20-year-old, whose full name is Jesus Fernandez Saez, has been on Milan’s radar for some time and his first-team opportunities at Liverpool look to be limited at present.
However, the Italian newspaper believes that Milan have managed to take advantage of the fact that Suso’s contract expires next summer to agree a provisional deal for January.
It is as yet unclear what the terms of the move would be, but the Italian press are convinced that Suso will be gracing Serie A from next February.
Suso spent last season on loan to Spanish side Almeria where he was a regular member of the starting 11, but he would be unlikely to get the same level of involvement at Milan.
However, the Rossoneri are still trying to overhaul a squad that underachieved badly last season and Suso may get more of a look-in at San Siro than he would with Liverpool.
