The Reds have reportedly beaten the Red Devils to Ojrzynski, a 16-year-old Polish goalkeeper who plays for Legia Warsaw.

Liverpool have pipped Premier League rivals Manchester United to the signing of young Polish goalkeeper Jakub Ojrzynski in a £200,000 deal, according to a report.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the 16-year-old, who plays for Legia Warsaw, was recently given a trial at Liverpool and had the opportunity to impress Jurgen Klopp when training with the first team.
The report goes on to claim that the Poland Under-16s international had also attracted interest from the likes of Man United, as well as continental sides Juventus and Valencia, though ultimately the Merseyside outfit have supposedly clinched his signature.
Ojrzynski is reportedly expected to be drafted into the Liverpool Under-18s – who recently overcame Manchester City 5-3 on penalties in the FA Youth Cup final – at the Kirkby academy, joining fellow countryman Kamil Grabara at the Anfield club.
Both Ojrzynski and Grabara will most likely have a fair way to go before reaching the first team but they can aspire to follow in the footsteps of compatriot Jerzy Dudek, who famously helped the Reds win the Champions League in 2005.
The Echo adds that Liverpool’s U18s have been in need of extra competition for Czech stopper Vitezslav Jaros, whose absence in the FA Youth Cup semi-final tie against Watford saw Barry Lewtas’s side sign Fulham’s Luca Ashby-Hammond on an emergency loan.
