Liverpool have now made their move to sign Ismaila Sarr from Watford, according to the Harrow Times

Liverpool have been linked with the Watford attacker following the Hornets’ relegation, and it seems that Jurgen Klopp’s side are now stepping up their chase.

Liverpool have not yet made a bid for the £40 million forward (Sky), but they have reportedly made contact with his agents, to let him know of their interest.

Liverpool are believed to be competing with Wolves and Crystal Palace for his signature, but they could steal a march on the competition by making an early move.

Palace will only move for Sarr if they lose Wilfried Zaha, while Wolves have lined him up as a replacement for Adama Traore.

Liverpool, therefore, could have a free run to snap up the rapid forward if they move quickly.

Sarr may have been relegated last term, but he could still be an exciting addition to Klopp’s squad.

The 22-year-old enjoyed an excellent first season in the Premier League, where he showed a great deal of promise.

Sarr would fit in well with Liverpool’s current attack, as he possesses so much pace, and he could yet develop into a real threat if he does make the move to Anfield.
