Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing the Real Madrid ace.

According to a report from Spanish media outlet Diario Gol, Liverpool remain keen on bringing Real Madrid star Marco Asensio to Anfield, and their chances of signing the Spaniard have been greatly enhanced by Zinedine Zidane’s unexpected exit from the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Reds have already spent heavily this summer, bringing in midfield duo Fabinho and Naby Keita, but it seems as though Jürgen Klopp’s business is far from finished, especially after Nabil Fekir’s failed move to Merseyside.
Spanish publication Diario Gol claims that Asensio remains a key target for Liverpool, and obtaining his signature could be made easier following Zidane’s exit from Madrid.

Good signing for Liverpool?
The 22-year-old is one of the most exciting young talent’s in world football, and he would be a sensational addition to the Reds’ squad.
The Spain international will not come cheap, however.

Spanish publication Don Balon reported that Liverpool tabled a £131million offer for Asensio back in January – a bid that was subsequently rejected by Los Blancos.
The Real Madrid star is an exceptional talent, and his ability to play anywhere along the front-line would add much needed competition to the likes of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
Whilst Asensio would be hugely expensive, he could prove to be the signing that takes Liverpool to an entirely new level.
