Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Andy Lonergan on a free transfer.

According to BBC Sport, Liverpool are interested in signing Andy Lonergan on a free transfer.
It has been reported that the Reds are considering securing the services of the 35-year-old former Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper following the injury to first-choice custodian Alisson.
Alisson suffered a calf injury during Liverpool’s Premier League game against Norwich City on Friday evening.
Familiar face
Lonergan is a free agent at the moment, having left Middlesbrough in the Championship at the end of last season.
The goalkeeper was part of the Liverpool squad for their pre-season tour of the USA as cover for Simon Mignolet.
Mignolet has since left Liverpool, who signed former West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian on a free transfer as the Belgian’s replacement.

Liverpool win
Liverpool kicked of their 2019-20 Premier League campaign on a positive note on Friday evening, as they eased past Norwich 4-1 at Anfield.
Former Liverpool striker John Aldridge was pleased with the final result, and so was Liverpool owner John W. Henry’s wife, Linda Pizzuti Henry.
