According to Spanish outlet Sport, reported Liverpool target Jasper Cillessen could be open to the idea of leaving Barcelona this summer.

The same publication claimed earlier this month that the Camp Nou side were willing to let the Netherlands international leave for £26.5 million, peaking Liverpool’s interest.

And now, Sport reckon that the 29-year-old, who earns £55,000 per week according to Silly Season, may be willing to quit the Catalan giants if an “attractive proposal” came his way.

The report adds that Cillessen has attracted interest from “two great European clubs”, but that none had yet acted and lodged a formal bid for him.

Liverpool, five-time champions of Europe, need a new goalkeeper this summer after Loris Karius contributed to Jurgen Klopp’s side failing to add a sixth European title to the trophy cabinet in May.

Cillessen joined Barcelona from Ajax in 2016 but has only started four Primera Liga and Champions League games since then, hence why he is reportedly open to leaving Catalunya.
