According to The Athletic, Reading wonderkid Michael Olise has a release clause of just £8 million amid interest from Liverpool, Leeds and Tottenham.

Tottenham’s interest is mentioned in The Athletic‘s story regarding the Championship prospect – it is said that Spurs have been watching him for some time.

News of Liverpool’s interest comes from TEAMtalk, who add that Merseyside rivals Everton are also keen.

Elsewhere, the Daily Mail credit Leeds with an interest in the 19-year-old, a player who could presumably do great things under Marcelo Bielsa’s mentoring.

Olise has been simply outstanding for the Royals this term, in what is just his third season in the first-team.

The teenager has scored four goals and has also recorded seven assists in 20 Championship appearances, helping Reading sit close to the summit.

If you’re wondering what type of player the attacking midfield maestro is, then his teammate Sam Baldock described him as ‘fearless’ when speaking to the Reading Chronicle.

‘Michael is a real talent, he’ll get on the ball in any situation. He’s fearless, if you ask him today I’ll guarantee that he had no nerves. He’s a lively character and one who I’ve noticed a real change in the last couple of months.’

WhoScored shows that the Reading No.7 is fouled 2.2 times per game in the Championship, while he also registers 1.7 key passes every 90 minutes.

There’s no denying that the Frenchman looks a superb talent, and for just £8 million, the aforementioned Premier League clubs would be silly not to swoop for him.
