Wolverhampton Wanderers are ready to sell Helder Costa in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.

The 23-year-old winger initially joined Wolves on a season-long loan deal from Portuguese giants Benfica in the summer of 2016.

In January 2017, the Championship club signed the winger on a permanent contract for a transfer fee reported by The Express & Star to be worth £13 million.

According to The Sun, Wolves are ready to part company with Costa in the summer of 2017.

It has also been reported by the British tabloid that Premier League club Liverpool are interested in the 23-year-old winger.

Costa has scored eight goals and created 47 chances in 29 Championship appearances for Wolves so far this season.

The Wanderers are 20th in the Championship table at the moment with 35 points from 32 matches.

Paul Lambert’s side are currently just four points above the relegation zone, but they have played two fewer games than third-from bottom Wigan Athletic have.

Wolves will return to action next weekend when they take on Reading away from home at the Madejski Stadium in the Championship.
