Sunderland’s Luke Hewitson is reportedly on the radar of Liverpool.

It has been reported that the Sunderland Under-14 goalkeeper will go to Liverpool this week for talks and will train ahead of joining the Merseyside club’s academy.
Good decision?
Liverpool have a very good academy and have a strong record of producing good players.
Hewitson is a very talented and promising youngster, and he will develop and progress at the Premier League club’s academy.

Season hopes
Liverpool are aiming to win the Premier League and the Champions League this season, while Sunderland are challenging for automatic promotion to the Championship at the end of the campaign.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 82 points from 33 matches, a point clear of second-placed Manchester City, who have played 32 games.
As for Sunderland, the Black Cats are currently third in the League One standings with 79 points from 39 matches, level on points with second-placed Barnsley, who have played 41 games.
