Sunderland youngster Luca Stephenson is reportedly on the radar of Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Premier League club Liverpool are ready to snap up the 15-year-old midfielder from Championship side Sunderland.
The talented and promising teenager will reportedly cost £500,000, and, according to The Sun, is the ‘new Jordan Henderson’.
Long-term signing
Stephenson is only 15 years of age and is not going to be part of the Liverpool first team anytime soon.
However, the teenager would be a smart long-term signing for Liverpool, and spending £500,000 could prove to be very cheap in the coming years.
It remains to be seen if Sunderland themselves will be willing to let go of Stephenson, and perhaps the teenage midfielder himself may not be open to leaving the Black Cats for Liverpool this summer.

Next season
Liverpool will be aiming to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title next season, as well as achieve success in the Champions League.
As for Sunderland, the Black Cats will be looking to win automatic promotion from League One to the Championship next season.
