According to 90min, Liverpool have been in regular contact with Borussia Dortmund over a potential deal for Jude Bellingham.
What’s the story?
Well, the news comes after the Daily Star claimed that Bellingham is now Liverpool’s top target, with Jürgen Klopp eyeing a club-record £80m deal.
90min believe Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are keen on the 18-year-old as well, and have also been in regular contact.
However, Borussia Dortmund don’t expect to lose Bellingham in 2022.
The Bundesliga side are likely to lose Erling Braut Håland when his £65m release clause comes into play next year.
Therefore, Borussia Dortmund will have no financial need to sell Bellingham as well in the same summer.
The 8-cap England international is tied to the German outfit until 2025, after recently agreeing an extension which saw his wages double to £100,000-a-week.
90min add that Bellingham also won’t push for a transfer, as he’s keen to receive regular game time and make England’s 2022 World Cup squad.
Liverpool and Jude Bellingham could be now or never

In our view, Liverpool must sign the ex-Birmingham prodigy as soon as possible before his price tag reaches an astronomical level.
It has already been reported by BILD that Borussia Dortmund won’t accept anything under €100m (£85.8m) for the wonderkid, who is getting better and better.
If he carries on like he is, Bellingham will easily be worth £150m in no time.
If he impresses at the 2022 World Cup as well, in front of the entire planet, that figure could well go even higher.

With Liverpool not exactly loaded in comparison to the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, they risk missing out if they don’t get a deal done as soon as possible.
It will be hard, as Bellingham is tied to a secure contract at the Signal Iduna Park.
Regardless, Liverpool have to give it everything they’ve got, or they may never get their hands on this phenomenon.
