According to Inside Futbol, Liverpool are now in talks to sign Fiorentina striker Dušan Vlahović, who is enjoying an incredible season.
The 21-year-old has scored 17 goals in 32 Serie A appearances this season, which has attracted interest from all across Europe.
Arsenal also want the 7-cap Serbia international, according to Calciomercato, while Corriere dello Sport believe Manchester City do too.
Elsewhere, La Repubblica claimed that Tottenham are keen. Calciomercato also wrote that West Ham want the Fiorentina No.9.
However, it looks like Liverpool have made the first move for the physical frontman, as talks have commenced with his agent.
AC Milan have also held talks, but Inside Futbol say that Liverpool’s interest is ‘advanced’ – Fiorentina are prepared to sell the forward.

However, Inside Futbol claim that the Italian outfit want a fee in the region of €40 million – €50 million (£34.8 million – £43.5 million) to part with their prolific talisman.
Vlahović himself is also happy to move clubs this summer, so a deal could well be on.
In our view, it seems as if Liverpool just need to offer an acceptable amount to Fiorentina, and this deal should be pretty straightforward.
So, what type of player is Vlahović?

Well, he has previously been compared to Zlatan Ibrahimović, in what is a helpful comparison for those who don’t know much about the Liverpool target.
Back in 2016, a report revealed that Juventus were scouting a teenage Vlahović, and regarded him as the next Ibrahimović.
To be compared to the iconic Swede, who has an astonishing 484 goals in 786 career games, speaks volumes.
If Jürgen Klopp pulls this deal off, then it would be a fantastic signing.
