Liverpool have been linked with Legia Warsaw midfielder Sebastian Szymanski.

According to Polska Times, Legia Warsaw youngster Sebastian Szymanski is a target of Liverpool.

Szymanski is only 18, but he is regarded as one of Poland’s top prospects.

Liverpool are said to have scouted the Szymanski for a considerable amount of time, as they weigh up making a move this summer.

Szymanski made 10 senior league appearances for Legia Warsaw last term, and is expected to play even more regularly next time around, if he stays with the Polish side.

If Szymanski does move to Liverpool he is likely to be recruited as one for the future.

Liverpool already have an exciting clutch of youngsters breaking through at Anfield, and Szymanski could add to the group.

The Reds have seen the likes of Trent Alexander-Armstrong and Ben Woodburn break through their youth academy and move into their first-team recently, while Dominic Solanke was signed from Chelsea this summer.

Liverpool have been fairly quiet in the transfer window to date, but are expected to invest heavily before the end of next month.
