Liverpool are in with a great chance of signing Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen, if Bayern Munich don’t make a move, according to Oktob.
Liverpool have been linked with Havertz for a considerable amount of time now, with Jurgen Klopp thought to be a big fan of the German international.
Bayern are also said to be keen to sign the 20-year-old attacker, and the Bundesliga side remain his first choice.
But Liverpool are considered to be in with a good chance of landing Havertz, in what would be an impressive swoop.
Havertz is said to want to move on from Bayer this summer and if no interest comes from Bayern, then Liverpool could be the next most likely club to land him.

Havertz would be an impressive addition to the Reds’ squad, as his form in Germany has made him one of the hottest properties in European football.
Liverpool would have to pay a huge fee to sign Havertz though, with the Independent suggesting that Leverkusen want £80 million for him.
