Liverpool have been handed a double fitness boost, as the Daily Mail claim that Fabinho and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are both close to making returns now.
Liverpool are now down to the bare bones, but could have an increase in options soon, as their midfield duo are both closing in on returns.
Fabinho, who cost £39 million (BBC Sport), has been out for around a month after damaging his hamstring, while Oxlade-Chamberlain has missed the entirety of the season to date.
Fabinho is now said to be ‘close’ to returning, while Oxlade-Chamberlain’s comeback is believed to be just a matter of weeks away.

The should be music to the ears of Liverpool fans, who have suffered more than their fare share of bad injury news in recent weeks.
Fabinho’s return is the most important, as his ability to cover at centre-back and in defensive midfield will be crucial to Klopp’s side at this stage.
Oxlade-Chamberlain’s impending comeback is also good news, though, as he could also have an important role to play.
Liverpool have not publicly set a return date for when the England interantional will be available again, but the Mail seem to think it will be sooner rather than later.
Despite the boost, the Reds are set to be without around half their usual stating line-up this weekend against Leicester City, with a number of key players on the treatment table.
Klopp’s side are, therefore, set to be heavily tested with the likes of Nico Williams and Nathaniel Phillips both potential starters for Sunday’s game.
