According to The Athletic, Liverpool are delighted by how Harvey Elliott is progressing at Blackburn Rovers.
It has been reported that the defending Premier League champions will ‘certainly’ not sell the winger in the summer of 2021.
The report has added that Liverpool are hoping that the teenager will be ready to compete for a place in manager Jurgen Klopp’s squad next season.
Harvey Elliott’s loan spell
Elliott joined Blackburn in the Championship on loan from Liverpool in the summer of 2020.
The 17-year-old winger has made only a handful of appearances for the Reds’ first team, but the England Under-17 international is doing well at Rovers.

According to WhoScored, the attacker has made 21 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for Blackburn so far this season, scoring four goals and providing eight assists in the process.
The former Fulham youngster has played across the front-line as well in attacking midfield at Rovers, according to WhoScored.
Back to Liverpool
Elliott is only 17, and it is clear that the winger is not ready yet to play week in and week out for Liverpool, especially with Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah ahead of him.
However, the winger could be a good option to have for manager Klopp in his squad next season.
