Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom is again being linked with a move to Celtic.
Andre Wisdom
According to The Sun, Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom wants a move to Celtic in order to reunite with his former manager Brendan Rodgers.
Celtic advanced into the group stages of the Champions League on Tuesday night, despite losing 2-0 in Israel to Hapoel Be’er Sheva – and Rodgers may now look to spend some of the subsequent cash windfall on new signings.

The Bhoys have already snapped up Dorus De Vries, Kolo Toure, Scott Sinclair and Moussa Dembele this summer, but ahead of Wednesday’s transfer deadline, more new faces could be on the way to Glasgow.
The Sun report that Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom wants to seal a move to Glasgow in order to work with his former manager Brendan Rodgers again.
Brendan Rodgers celebrates
Wisdom, 23, came up through the ranks at Anfield following a 2008 switch from Bradford City, and was handed his first-team debut in 2012 as Rodgers gave him a chance to impress before extening his contract just months later.
Now something of a forgotten man at Liverpool, Wisdom has spent the last three seasons on loan at Derby County, West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City, and now seems to want a permanent move away to further his career.

Back in June, the Daily Mail reported that Celtic were locked in talks over a deal to sign Wisdom for £3m, but the move appeared to go cold, with little mention of Wisdom heading to Scotland over the last two months.
Now though, with more funds to play with after Celtic’s Champions League qualification, Rodgers could rekindle a move, especially given that he needs options at right back and centre back, where Wisdom plays – and the player himself appears to be angling for a move to link up with Rodgers once again, just as De Vries, Toure and Sinclair already have this summer.
