Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing the Villarreal ace.

According to a report from Goal, Liverpool could be tempted to sell Xherdan Shaqiri this summer, in order to fund a move for Villarreal ace Samuel Chukwueze.
The Reds spent heavily last summer, bringing in Alisson Becker, Naby Keita, Fabinho and Shaqiri, as well as splashing out £75 million on Virgil van Dijk 18 months ago.
Liverpool just missed out on the Premier League title this season, and it seems as though Jurgen Klopp doesn’t actually need to do to much with his squad this summer, apart from a bit of fine-tuning here and there.
One area where the German might be keen to bolster, however, is his attacking options, and the Daily Mail reported last month that Samuel Chukwueze is one of his top transfer targets this summer.

The 20-year-old winger enjoyed a fine season with Villarreal, racking up 10 goals and four assists in 47 appearances in all competitions.
And now Goal claims that Liverpool might free up space for the Nigerian by moving on Shaqiri.
The Swiss star has failed to impress at Anfield, and there surely will not be too many Liverpool fans who would be sad to see him leave this summer.
