Liverpool could leave their Melwood training ground and find a new complex where both the first-team and academy teams can train alongside each other, according to the Daily Mirror.
The report states that manger Jurgen Klopp wishes for the Anfield academy to be at the same training ground as the first-team and the club’s American owners Fenway Sports Group prepared to ensure that, that is the case.

Liverpool’s senior side and under-23’s currently train at Melwood, which is five miles away from the academy centre in Kirkby.
And Klopp believes that it would be valid if all of their sides were at the same complex so that he can keep an eye on the club’s most promising youngsters, before they are selected for the senior squad.

The newspaper reports that whilst discussions are ongoing, expanding Melwood is not a viable option and a move could be forthcoming over the next couple of years.
Whilst, the Liverpool Echo claims that the most likely outcome will see the first-team join the academy site in Kirkby as there is enough room on site, but they are also looking to build a new complex.
