Liverpool could be set to battle it out with Manchester City for the Leicester City ace’s signature, according to reports.

According to a report from Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato, Liverpool have joined Manchester City in the race to sign Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell.
The 22-year-old has risen through the ranks at the King Power Stadium, and he has gone on to make 83 senior appearances in all competitions for the Foxes.
Chilwell has really impressed for Leicester, but unfortunately for the east Midlands outfit, his fine displays have not gone unnoticed.
The Telegraph reported earlier this month that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is a big fan of the left-back, but it has been claimed that he will cost in excess of £75 million.
And Liverpool could challenge their Premier League rivals for Chilwell’s signature, according to Calcio Mercato.

The Reds already have Andrew Robertson, so whether they actually need the Leicester ace is debatable.
Alberto Moreno could be leaving Anfield in the summer, however, so it would be no surprise to see Jürgen Klopp attempt to bolster his left-back department in order to provide more competition for Robertson.
£75 million might just prove to be a bit too steep for Liverpool, however.
