Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers could launch a summer raid on former club Liverpool, but so could his Wolverhampton Wanderers counterpart.

Liverpool are “braced for interest” from Celtic and Wolverhampton Wanderers for winger Harry Wilson, according to ESPN.
Wilson has scored 28 goals for Liverpool’s Under-23s this season, which it is suggested has caught the eye of respective Celtic and Wolves managers Brendan Rodgers and Paul Lambert.
Rodgers, the former Liverpool boss, is said to be eyeing alternatives to Patrick Roberts with the on-loan Bhoys winger expected back at Manchester City this summer.

While Wolves could also be in the market for wide players, with Helder Costa linked with moves to a string of European heavyweights – including Champions League semi-finalists Monaco.
20-year-old Wilson has only featured once for Liverpool’s first team, but previously spent time with Crewe Alexandra and has already won his first Wales cap.
Despite having worked with Wilson for three years at Anfield, Rodgers may not have the upper hand if he tries to secure the player’s signature, with his successor Jurgen Klopp a close friend of Lambert having done his coaching badges with the Scot.

The report does not specify whether Celtic or Wolves would be pursuing a loan or permanent transfer for Wilson.
