Liverpool have been tracking the Roma ace all summer.

According to a report from Brazilian outfit Terra, Liverpool have submitted a bid of £57 million for Roma’s Alisson Becker, in an attempt to wrap up a deal to sign the Brazilian before the start of the World Cup.
The Reds have already been heavily active during this summer’s transfer window, but the addition of a world-class goalkeeper still features prominently on Jürgen Klopp’s wish-list.

Liverpool have been tracking Alisson all summer, as well as numerous other high profile stoppers, but their search to add a top-class goalkeeper has so far proven to be fruitless.
Brazilian media outlet Terra now claim that the Merseyside outfit have made their first move in an attempt to bring the 25-year-old Roma ace to Anfield by offering the Italian club £57 million for his services.

Alisson would be an excellent signing for Liverpool, and he would undoubtedly add a certain level of composure and authority that the Reds have desperately lacked defensively over the past few years.
Whether Roma will accept Liverpool’s reported £57 million bid remains to be seen, but if they do, it would shatter the previous transfer record for a goalkeeper.
