According to Salzburger Nachrichten, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City are eyeing a summer swoop for RB Salzburg’s Patson Daka.
The Zambian forward looks set to follow Erling Braut Håland in becoming the next big thing to emerge from RB Salzburg.
Daka has scored a remarkable 27 goals in just 31 games this season, while also racking up eight assists for the Austrian giants.
Such incredible form has led to interest from Jürgen Klopp, Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola, who SN believe will all battle it out for the 22-year-old this summer.
As relayed by the Daily Mail, Zambia coach Milutin Sredejovic believes Daka can emulate what Cameroon legend Samuel Eto’o achieved in football.
Sredejovic said: “I would say he’s on the road to replacing what Eto’o once was in representing Africa and African football.
“He could be compared to Sadio Mane or Eto’o, with the level of skill and speed that he has, with the sense for space, sense of positioning, in the right place at the right time.”

While all the signs suggest Daka is an exciting forward, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City should make sure to do their homework.
Of course, everybody wants the next Håland in their ranks.
However, for every Håland, there’s a Takumi Minamino, who also came to England from RB Salzburg.

The Japanese maestro has only scored three goals in 25 Premier League games since arriving on these shores.
Admittedly, it would be hard to resist signing Daka after his 27 goals so far this season.
Klopp, Arteta and Guardiola just need to make sure he’s the real deal, and not just a player who can only excel in a division of lesser quality to the Premier League.
