Premier League giants Liverpool, Arsenal and West Ham United are competing to sign giant centre-back Mohamed Ali Camara from Young Boys this summer, as reported by TEAMtalk.
Standing at 6ft 3in and blessed with a wide range of passing, this powerhouse Guinea international was never likely to be out of the gossip columns for long.
And with a host of Premier League clubs in the market for a talented young central defender, Camara is hardly short of admirers.
TEAMtalk believes Arsenal, Crystal Palace, West Ham and newly promoted Norwich City are all big fans of the 23-year-old, who played a major role this season as Swiss giants Young Boys secured a fourth straight domestic title.
Camara, who has been at the heart of Young Boys’ last three title triumphs, is also on the radar of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
It remains to be seen, however, whether Camara is viewed at Anfield as an alternative to top target Ibrahima Konate or could arrive as well as RB Leipzig’s France U21 international.
Like Konate, the one-cap Guinea international is exactly the kind of promising youngster who tends to thrive under Klopp.
What that would mean for Ozan Kabak’s hopes of a permanent switch to the reigning Premier League champions is anyone’s guess.
