Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly battling for Erling Braut Haaland.

According to the Daily Star, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are in the race to sign Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland in 2020.
Haaland, 19, became a sensation in his native Norway with Molde, hitting 20 goals in 50 games to earn himself a move to Austria.
Huge clubs wanted him before that move anyway, but he decided to make a gradual step up, and it’s really paying off for the teenage striker.
In 11 games this season, Haaland has already smashed 18 goals and five assists, becoming the most wanted young striker in Europe off the back of his start to life at Salzburg.
Now, it’s claimed that Liverpool and Tottenham have joined the race for Haaland, competing with Manchester United and Juventus for his signature either in January or next summer.
Haaland was only a substitute against Liverpool last week, but still managed to score at Anfield as the Reds battled their way to a 4-3 win over the Austrian side.

Tottenham need a target man after letting Fernando Llorente leave, and the 6ft 4in Haaland would fit the bill for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, whilst giving him another young striker to work with.
Having Harry Kane, Troy Parrott and Haaland would give Spurs a frontline to fear for years to come, but whether they can fend off Liverpool remains to be seen.
